29 May 144 days on cruise

go on holidays on 6 June

I am not thinking about that. I think though if you do have a bit of a breakout the pure protein gets you back on track quickly.

Good news all round then. That's excellent.

The phase of the diet that you are on now, how long is that supposed to last for you? When do things start changing? I'm just curious about when you start introducing a bit more variety.

Thanks I am feeling so much better it has really helped with the rocking. I had wine on Thursday night and felt like crap all day on Friday so that is motive to stay off the wine.

Linda you are doing really well. Perhaps Dukan is the post 'banding-honeymoon' diet. Most people will get past the honeymoon stage, it just takes longer for some.

"You will never have to diet again"! Hahahaha - whoever sprouted that lie should be hung, drawn and quartered.

Well done you!

Down another .2 today. That is 2.4 off. 2 weeks tomorrow. I can't believe I left the baking powder out of my last batch of muffins. They are like rocks and stick to the paper cups.

I have to admit also that I do a batch of chicken wings for the protein days.. now dukan says you have to skin them... I defy anyone to skin those suckers so I eat them skin and all roasted with salt and pepper on them till crispy

I feel wicked now.....

Linda I have been doing low fat protein and dukan approved veg for the second stage with the turn about protein day... and yes it is ever so easy with out the band ....the meat just goes down.

keep up the good work and dont get disheartened because it does work and it is so much harder to do the whole protein thing with your silicone friend... which is a crock because its how we are supposed to eat with a band... meh....dont start me!

Zips are you doing pure protein day about or just doing protein and veg all the time? He says it is the pure protein days that kick it along but I find them very boring. Alan had a steak last night. I wish. I think doing dukan would be easier without the band. I have asked Delia to start a new thread for us then I will post the muffin recipe. I just bought some paper cases and I might make a chocolate batch today to keep it interesting. I have 6 vanilla ones in the freezer.

Funny you say that. What about the people who were hypnotised to believe they have a band. They are doing really well in the weight loss stakes.

Well done on your 3kg loss. I will get a dukan recipe thread started so we don't have to wade back over the posts.

PostSubject: Re: DUKAN DIET   DUKAN DIET - Page 5 Empty13/01/12, 01:25 am

can you see if they can make a dukan recipe section Linda... I would be very interested in your recipes... I dont eat the yogurt and have lost 3 kilo all up to date.. I just cant do the dairy it makes me sick.... physically sick.. i also struggle with the oat bran so would love your muffin recipe to see if its different to mine.

Loving all the salad and protein...drinking heaps of water but sadly no exercise except for the incidental stuff Im doing so I am happy with 3 kilo off and no band to help me.

Not any hungrier than I was with the band... since being on diet not hungry for breaky not really hungry at lunch but eat it then 4 oclock munchies hit so I eat a diet jelly or maybe some protein if I have some handy in the fridge...like chicken breast or salmon.

Dinner is always salad or veg and protein of some variety...

Since the band came out my meals are bread and butter plate size ... my stomach has definitely lowered in capasity since the band and I have to say apart from being able to eat salad and have it go down everything else is exactly the same as when I had the band food intake wise...except no reflux.

Starting to wonder if the blardy thing wasnt all psychological from the start.

NO yesterday is gone. Remember we have to live.
I know we have a big weekend and I will try and do the best I can. I am down again this morning DUKAN DIET - Page 5 870455
and I don't want to go off track but I know I can't be rude either to hosts.
I have told the one that I have a band and don't worry if I don't eat to much and she says ohhhhh don't eat all day. She does not understand she is Chinese.
At least tomorrow night I can control it as it is at our place but may have a glass of wine see how the night goes.

Linda my friends have done the 12 week program twice. I have looked through
their program. They are doing it again as well as the like it so much and is
easy with all the recipes and the shopping list.

Michelle gives you a weekly menu breakfast lunch and dinner

A weekly shopping list.

All the recipes needed for the week.

Exercise for different levels of fitness.
You can down load to your ipod a lot of information so you have it on hand.
I think she talks in a group to you each week.
There is probable mcuh more that I don't know about as I have not yet joined.

I found the recipes nice and only a couple from the first week I could not
eat. Tuna I find very hard to get down if it is in spring water and that is
what the recipe called for.

Each meal is 300 calories

You are allowed 3 snacks (1 cup of skim milk included in this for coffee) a
day if wanted to bring total to 1200 calories for the day.

She gives a list of the snacks she would like you to use. Bars, crackers,
cheese, yoghurt and fruit.

I believe it is very sustainable for a life long eating plan

I think I may do the 12 week challenge if not this time the next one she
had.

She also has two recipe books out and I believe is releasing a new one.

Have a look at the sites.
All this for $200 for the 12 weeks which I think is really reasonable.

NO I am just cruising around the internet but this is interesting. I have a
couple of friends who are doing it and I am looking for info. for them.

I now have the complete plan and lots of info. to pass on.

I am watching how you go.

I am wanting to the Michelle Bridges 12 week challenge as I have 3 friends
who have lot 37k, 30k, and 16k and all from the one family. They did 2 x 12
weeks with her. One did the exercises the other two did nothing and all
are looking fantastic.

I have tried one week of her plan and lost 2.5k.

I have the tupperware silicon ones and they are fantastic. A mud cake in the mico takes 7 to 8 minutes and muffins 2 to 3.
They never stick.
I have found with the cheaper ones they stick and are horrible.
Yes I would like you muffin recipe.
I have a freind who started this last week and has lost 4k and another friend who has been on it for weeks and is losing steadly.
