| Debs the package has arrived. OMG it is so good. I mixed it with almond milk and it was so sweet so had to add more milk. I think even water would be good with it. I think I will order some. Will PM you. Thank you so much. | |

| I still have the fatty taste in my mouth, but fortunately not all the time.
I missed taking my regular tablets for a couple days, and after I took them a couple days ago the fatty taste seemed to disappear - for a while. Doesn't account for the last two weeks.
An upside to peanut butter - at least the fat is 'good' fat!

| Thank you Debs I can't wait to try it. As I ate and did not chew tonight I had to bring up the bloody pork and ham. Pork fat as the cause it does not bread down. I should know. So the powder will be very welcome here for the next day or so. Delia

| You're very welcome Losingit, i loves me good bit of research! lol I wonder if you have a chest infection or something? I hope some of those remedies might help. Good luck and keep us posted. Sounds like me Zip. My ultrasound is 8.40 in the morning and fasting from midnight of the 11th. I did think of trying to get an earlier appointment somwhere else but i can live with it. Dr P has an ultrasound machine in his room if i recall correctly so if he thought it was really important he would have just got me up there to see him and done it there and then. Wouldn't he? lol I think he's had his period for the last few months actually :) Tara...Oh.MY.GOD. How bloody exciting! Hopefully it will work out i will get mine done around the same time so we can whinge and recover together :) It does seem ages away but like you said, its almost November already and after the christmas and newyear kerfuffle dies down it'll practically be here. Eeeeeeek! I'm so happy for yea mate! Well done. debs | |

| OMG - congratulations Tara! Things are on the move for you ladies.
Thanks for the advice everyone. Linda - all I can say is bugger. There was a bag full of parsley at work last night, excess from someone's garden. I forgot to take some on the way out this morning.
Debs the "sticky and greasy taste in the mouth accompanied by chest oppression, epigastric fullness and profuse and sticky sputum is due to internal accumulation of damp phlegm" sounds most like me. I have a few of the remedy options here, so will see how I go with them. I may have exacerbated it to some degree, drinking a glass of half lemon juice/half water to see if it would 'dissolve' something further down.
I must say you were more successful in your research than I was, Debs. Well done you!
While the peppermint chocolate is definitely the most appealing, I have a feeling that the fat content of the chocolate may only serve to make matters worse. Unlike me to pass up on a chocolate option!

| Sooooooo Girls,
It's done ! (Insert stomach flip here).
I'm booked for Sleeving on April 3rd or earlier if a cancellation becomes available. De-banding will be done when the hospital can fit me in (public list). Under 3 months I am told.
I was kinda worried that it is all a bit far away till I worked out it is almost November now and it IS actually really fast. EEEEEK!
Gunna look at all the Apra crap tomorrow and apart from that I think I am all set for now.
