Ok I just skipped through the link. Bookmarked it to read later.
I wonder what else we could use?
I wonder if you just added ginger powder or if you chopped fresh ginger up and put into them. What do you think?

Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to find fresh goji berries in
Australia due to them being extremely fragile as well as due to
Australia's tough importation laws. So if you want to
experience the benefits of the goji berry you need to either find dried
goji berries, which again is very difficult, or take a daily goji berry
supplement, which is what we believe to be
the easiest and most effective way of getting your daily dose of goji
and all the benefits that go with it.

This is what was on the link you sent me. I am gathering the supplement is a tablet. LOL

I am sure who ever devised the recipe used fresh or at least dried.

Gobi berries are tablets???
You can get fresh but they are very delicate and yes you can get a tablet.
Do you think that is what she used?

I would chop uncooked small pices and put it in like that but it will be a bit tart the more I think about it.

Beat me with a stick:

It's actually Dawn French, and I think she looked so much better with the weight on. That's just me - I think part of her personality is gone (which is pretty much how I FELT when I lost weight).

She is a very attractive, bubbly woman, but personally I don't think she looks better when she's smaller.

Perhaps

She has always eaten a lot of chocolate with the band and still lost weight. I think she has always been obese and just doesn't know any different. She really enjoys her food and has decided she is not missing out any more.

perhaps though Linda she is one of those bandits that the band does not quite sit on the spot that curbs the grehlin as it puts pressure on it.... its easier to say no when your part of the lucky ones that had the good luck in the draw.

I... was one of those, which is why I did so well. I didnt realise it but my band did curb my appetite and cravings quite a bit. But there are others out there that are batteling on with the band in them that struggle to the death...these are the bandits who show poor weightloss.

I did not pull this out of the basement...My doc explained this too me when I asked him about the whole grehlin thing with the sleeve. Apparently the effect is greater with the sleeve but it should (theoreticly) be mimiced with the band if they manage to position it right.

However it is hit and miss ( he told me) and over time if the band moves it can shift off the spot...hence the return to old eating habits etc. He also explained that the production of grehlin slows the metabolism and that the obese produce more of it than the thin...there for reducing the production of grehlin actually speeds the metabolism.

With the sleeve and bypass, though over 90 percent of the grehlin is removed the body actually regrows about 5 to 10 percent of that back over the 2 years after removal...hence the ability to regain a small percentage of lost weight in these proceedures unless you begin to work against the grehlin at this stage

Very interesting once you get into it. Our bodies really are a amazing, and its not always just as easy as some think

Yes I know what you are saying.
You will do well. None of us wanted to have an operation for being overweight but we do it to help us be more fit in our everyday lives.

Yeah its wicked loving food... thats me all over... I am hoping that I will be satisfied with the sleeve as I can have a taste of anything with out having fear of it getting stuck... when I say a taste I mean most are satisfied because they fill up quickly....although slider foods are still a problem for sleevers.

I wondered about Sharon Osbourne as well. I recon she backed up for something. She is too old to turn into a gym junkie and once a porker always a porker so she would still like the same foods that made her fat....what ever surgery she turned too I recon she put her daughter on to as well. I doubt that you are born fat then after 25 odd years you just go on a diet and lose weight effortlessly and over night like she did...but I could be wrong.
