PostSubject: Re: 2008 Junies and Friends   2008 Junies and Friends - Page 16 Empty12/02/13, 06:35 am

I have come to figure that our brains are just wired arse up. I read the people on the sleeving site and they all have the same stories and decadant lusty love affair with food.

I also find that I tend not to trust those who deny having the food issues... lets face it, would we need a silicone band or half our stomach removed if we didnt.

*sigh* listening to my 46kg sister in law usually makes me want to top myself. She gets full on half a green pea and loses weight just thinking about walking to the frigging letter box. That aint me and she cant understand why I dont just "eat healthy and lose weight".

The truth is I love me tucker... even with me gut removed... I still loves me food. I eat a whole lot less of it yet but OMG it is orgasmic still for me and I still look forward to eating.

I am not often hungry in the true sense of the word and fill up very quickly but who says eating is about being hungry... or not having enough room for another mouthful.

When someone can develope a tool that deals with that aspect of downing yummy stuff I will be well on my way to being cured.

Till now I will plan social occasions based on what food is there and my weekends will be looked forward to with much passion for the jelly snakes I will curl up with to watch my movie... not to mention the lil drinkies that will also be ingested

Tis me... I cant change it. Some look forward to sweating it out in the gym or a good challenging run...others a rollicking roll in the sack... me, I look forward to steak on the barbeque and a rum and coke...such is life!

Lol sounds like great pressie's zip. I hope he had a good birthday.

Oh god that sounds like, me. I eat until I am full then I'm looking for something else to eat! I get up at midnight to eat....I buy takeaway for lunch even though my pants are too tight already.....I bought kfc last night for dinner after tafe and two hours later was eating a bowl of noodles! Arrrgggghhhhhh!!!! Thanks for understanding zip. It has really made me see how much I need the sleeve....I'm 10kg up since band out so something needs to be done. I will get those reflux meds though as maybe that's making me worse.

I got him some noise cancelling ear phones for him to use on the plane etc when he is listening to his portable dvd and ipod and a good electric razor for when he is at work... about 3 kilos of jelly beans and a novelty mug that says "Im a bitch", a pair of sunnies and a new pair of sandshoes... the canvas type they were around with shorts etc not the training type.

He seemed happy with it all...men are reasonably easy pleased

Yeah I would get the reflux under control before the op... I did and Im glad I did cos its non existant except for the odd bout of the hungries which is the acid in the belly but nothing worse than that ...touch wood.

Yeah that place isnt cheap but no one goes in dressed flash. I just wore my jeans and t shirt and it was fine. That was at breakfast though. I dont get smancied up for anyone anyway.

I hope Tara is doing ok as well... I found the coming out a bit of a bother and more painful than going in and way worse than the sleeve. I was knocked up for longer with band removal than sleeve thats for sure.... however it did not effect my eating...that was in perfect working order.

As for your hoovering right now... I think we all do the food funeral thing, I know I definitely did. I am ashamed to say I actually ate till I vomited and ate my way through every single lollie in the woolies sweetie aisle. Not to mention every bloody takeaway in the town.

I went to maccas drive through...got maccas then uturned it and went through KFC and got a load of that as well one night. And yes I ate it. It was a horrendous time for me, so there is nothing you are doing that I have not done 10 times worse.

It was like I had only 24 hours left on the earth to sample every food out there and even if I wasnt hungry and was still full I was looking for something else to eat.

I sat and ate nearly an entire loaf of toast bread nicely hot and golden with drippy butter and a different topping on each peice one night after dinner.

God luv my hubby cos he never cast the stink eye or said a word but I was truely ugly the way I was eating. I knew it yet couldnt stop. So the sleeve was manditory for me... or my stomach would have exploded

Hey Zip, i don't go back to Nighe until the 15th of March i think? Ages away! I probably do need more nexium as i haven't taken it in ages and keep getting spew burps and an acidy taste in my mouth. He did say i could have the surgery in april sometime so that would time up nicely. I have tafe holidays in april too so it would work perfectly. Wish i could get it done now though as i'm just eating like a piggy demon...i can't seem to stop and i'm craing all the shit food...basically takeaways. I know i don't have to give in the cravings but i can't seem to say no...so weak. Sigh :(

Yes that new place looks pretty flash. When i drive past i see lots of lawyer/accountaints/real estate agent types in there. Very flash for this place! I might go in there for a coffee as you're right, it is pretty expensive....fancy stuffing up an omelette...i tell ya.Thankgod for those choc tops eh! lol Actually i feel to fat to go in there, might have to wait until i lose some weight as i can't do cute outfits or anything dressy looking like a beast. It looks like jeans and t-shirts won't cut it in there...maybe for a coffee it might, who knows.

I wonder how Tara is going....good luck getting some good drugs, they never want to give you anything now days. Its panadol or nothing. I hope she gets something though as i was in quite a bit of pain when i came out...much worse getting it out then getting it in.

Happy birthday to your hubby Zip!

Oh and I had breakfast at the new wog restaurant for my hubbies birfdee breakfast.

Coffee - good

ommelett - shit

Everyone elses food was good but mine was flavourless, about 3 mil thick and like a frigging rubber frisby. It stuck in my gut nearly all day or felt like it.

I had to have a choc top cone at the pictures to get it out... bloody things you have to do some times I tellz ya.

Anywhoooo... pretty expensive on our towns standards... pretty small and cramped but the coffee is good so would go back for a cuppa...but dinner...well after farking up a simple omelette...it makes me wonder what the cheff could do with something more complicated than eggs!

hey debs when do you see nige again

It will be approx 3 weeks after your next visit if my calculations are correct.

He will make a date for you and throw you on your opti for the 2 weeks and you will be done.

If you have reflux... or heart burn go get some nexium now and get it cleared up... trust me it will be way better for you!

Thank you all. 2008 Junies and Friends - Page 16 709662

Eeeeeeeeeek. Just leaving home now.

Hell yes to the drugs !! I intend on bunging it on big time. Gosh hope I only have to bung it on.

Having no make up is probably the worst bit, just have to avoid all mirrors till tomorrow and pretend I am beautiful (and THIN) in the meanwhile. Yep that'll work.

See a on the flip side. And to quote Jeff Fenech "I love youse all".

Hee hee

Yep, all going well I should be out by lunchtime Wednesday.

AaaaaaaaND I have an afternoon surgery so I don't even have to get out of bed early tomorrow. Woo hoo.

I took pretty much what Linda said. Except i forgot my pillow. That was a BIG mistake as i had such a terrible nights sleep...plus had a migraine so at about 4am i finally got a shot of morphine and that put an end to the pain. I was only in for one night and didn't even get to wear my pjs as after my shower in the morning i got dressed and went home.

I did get hungry though by the next day and felt like i wanted to eat, only i couldn't eat as much as i used to. That only lasted for about a week or two, then it GAME ON! lol

You'll be fine mate. It'll all be over soon and then we can both move on from this band business.

I thought most of the stuff on the list was unnecessary. Just take your toiletries and jamas and phone. Are you in for 1 night? I found a pillow in the car helped where the seat belt hit my port wound. So I took my own pillow in. I had bought de gass but didn't get the gass pains. I also had some mersyndol on hand for pain relief.

Hey Girls,

I am seriously unprepared for the upcoming band removal.

So anything ya reckon I need for after the op please recommend away. I have tomorrow to go shopping.

I seriously have not thought ahead AT ALL. Crap.

Oh, there was a list floating around on the old Yahoo threads of what to take to hospital etc and I'm wondering if anyone has a copy of that pleeeeease ??
Reckon I might need it for the Sleeve op. I really MUST prepare before then.

Thanks in advance,
T
