On a brighter note we have Mums name down at 3 very nice private ensuite rooms in high care. I think that she will now go into transitional care and wait for whatever comes up. They are all nice so it doesn't matter which one. They are all within 10 mins drive for dad to visit. I have been doing the research and my sister from here is over there at the moment doing the leg work. The other 4 who live over there have done sweet f all. You should see the last email exchange with one brother. He said I go over there for 5 mins and throw some hand grenades and then bugger off to victoria. Well my older sister has gone over for 10 mins and chucked a few f ng bombs.

go and have some chocolate and wine and get that 10 kg back on.

Pffft I dont like diets either Linda and frankly you have a band so you shouldnt have to I mean thats what you paid all that money out for.

I have come to the conclusion that we are doomed either way cos the sagging skin is no better than the chub that covers us and plumps out the wrinkles.... in fact I think I looked better with 10kg on me.

Thanks so much everyone. You are all truly fantastic and I hope your recoveries are going well . Still in hospital , still totally nil by mouth. Still In pain but had a painful procedure done a couple days ago making breathing a bit easier...but now have another drain digging into diagphram. Painful but I've still got pain pump so am getting on with it. Not sure how much damage has been done to sleeve but he didn't sound optimistic at the start . Still it's one day at a time right so we'll just have to see whether he converts to a bi pass or not....hope not but ill keep you posted. 14 May he is away. Then I have to get an appointment for a scan. It has been happening on the odd occasion for a few years. Just more often now. Maybe cos my gut is bigger ?????

Thanks girls. still so sick. Had Surgry one on the 16th . was in
agonising pain. → oc kept saying gas gas gas C couldn't walk thought
crying so much. Sent me to the other Side of town in a hospital taxi for
a barium swallow with Wackman . I fainted in the due to pain. Doc came
in that evening and said id h have to be driven by amb to public
hospital for emergency surgery aand might have to do Full open abo. I
felt quite hysterical but he Couldn't make any promises. Now hhere I am
AGAIN three days , or shoot that be. fine day rid by mouth. Hone turn
drains and naso gastric tube still in and feel like total crap . I think
each day there are slight Improvements but l in still is Ku and king
next to a dying woman whose family de all depressed.... as you would bet
It's just so hard so Frigg", hard. Trish Can you let Jurries know if
you like ? I can't write anymore- exhausted.

Does it really get better cee?
