| Nah not climbing the walls at all... I think the most I can get down now in a sitting is 2 tablespoons or 1/8 of a cup... I tried for a 1/4 cup but its way too filling.
worst discomfort I get if I push that 2 Tablespoons is the feeling that you get when a tablet is stuck in the back of your throat... it goes away in no time at all ... from what I heard this is also an early days thing.
I dont miss eating more because it feeeeels like I have eaten 2 cups full... my capasity should increase to between a half cup to a full cup.... will try not to stretch it to the full cup and keep it lower so when I do have treats its a smaller amount.
Dont fancy cake or anything. Its kinda weird and freeing. Yesterday I decided to have 2 of the tiny little easter eggs... ate one ...spat the other out...

| some do Debs but its rare and usually it only occures in the early days and rectifys itself and is gone by a few months out.
Lactose intolerance is a biggie in the early stages which I found out today after drinking a small amount of milk I was hung over the sink feeling sick... it passed but was not pleasant... the girls told me today this is an early days thing too and will pass.

| Well done Zip. Sounds like everything is going tickety boo....great news. Can i ask a question? Do people with the sleeve suffer from that 'dumping' syndrome thing? I've heard people who have gastric bypass can get it so just wondering if sleevers can get it too? debsx | |

| lost a couple...10 all up me thinks but have been stalled for a few days... which is to be expected now I am on mushies. If I remember rightly it was the same with the band. Not really arsed about it to be truthful cos I feel so good and its nice to be not hungry and eat so little with no pain.
For now food does not rule my life and I rarely think about it. Sometimes I feel a slight niggle of hunger but it is quickly quelled with a few spoon fulls of something mushy.

| I hope you all had a wonderful Easter with family. I did. I was also so good made myself sick: I dunno: No buns I can't remember when this happened at Easter. Usually it would have been a 6 pack for me alone. No chocolate again I can't remember when this happened. I even gave the two I was given away. I did not even feel hungry so had a very small meal but I got a prawn or bit of chicken stuck so that stopped me eating. Good in a way I guess. I still forget to not talk and concentrate on chewing the meal.
I am not bragging well maybe a little. I got so many complements that I have to keep going with this weight loss. Nothing like that to keep you on track. People are really noticing the weight loss on me now. Delia

| Sounds more like someone with a few values to me, Zippy. I can't fathom why children need to be subjected to such things at such a tender age - they grow up too quickly as it is, and I too have an issue with them being exposed to that sort of thing so young. Seems to me childhood is nothing like it used to be. That's not all bad, but please - give them a chance to be children for a little longer. | |

| well I had intended to have some chocolate yesterday ( cant insult the Easter bunny) but I started the day with a soft scrambled egg.... I got a bout half of it down and was full to the brim... and felt that way till 3 in the after noon. I finished the other half of the egg for tea.
I went to the pictures and saw American Pie the reunion with my 22 year old daughter and sat next to a woman who brought her 10 and 7 year old daughters... I am sorry but the sound of a 7 and 10 year old laughing side splittingly at a scene where a man goes down on a woman, unnerved me.
I really dont understand child rearing skills these days, I would never have considered taking my children even at 16 to see that movie, let alone such a young age. As it was I squirmed next to my 22 year old in those scenes.
Ah well Im old I guess, with old values....time for the nursing home.

| Yep Rosebud .. I'm with you.
TODAY DOES NOT EXIST !! It did not happen, nada, zilch .. poof it's GONE !
OOH I've just had a thought.
You know the saying "Keep calm and carry on" ? Let's do it !!!! As today does NOT exist I shall put my head down, keep calm and carry on (eating all the sugary goodness in my kitchen.)

| Happy Easter everyone!
I'll readily admit I am a martyr, well let's face it, someone has to be. Here's my proof: work provided hot cross buns (was force-fed them on Friday night), and last night I was subjected to some easter eggs and Lindt bunnies. Somehow half a Lindt bunny seems to have disappeared - I didn't see any mice at work, so I'm thinking that bunny just hopped into my mouth and before I knew it I had swallowed it. These things happen.
Hope everyone is enjoying the break - if you get one - and not having to put up with the quality-control testing that I have been forced to make.

| Happy Easter guys. So glad you're still going along well and happy Zip! Ooooh Linda, that rocky road sounds divine...love rocky road. I've eaten a bunch of easter eggs...so bad i know but i'm loving that i don't get any blocks or slime....its almost like preband! ROFL!!!
I had a good band day today actually...a tiny bit of bacon at brekky (normally can't eat brekky) and some mashed potato, cauliflour and silverside for dinner...and not a single stuck moment. I'm thinking all the chocolate from easter has lubricated the ol' stoma....maybe i'm onto something.....hehehehehehe......
Happy Easter everyone. x
