WHAT BANDITS EAT IN A DAY

Hello Friends,

Breakfast = 1 weetbix & 1/2 cup of milk (still no sugar yay lol)

Snack = Mochachino

Lunch = 6 wasabi rice crackers (i'm totally hooked they are delicious) with ham, cheese & asparagus

Snack = 3 wasabi rice crackers (see I told you)

Dinner = 1 cup Mediteranean couscous salad with tuna (homemade, I surprised myself it was amazing if I do say so myself)

Dessert = 2 squares of milk chocolate


Deb you must be feeling fine after eating mashed 'pot' hahaha i'm sure you meant potato and not mary jane lol
Good on you getting stuck into it, 50kg leg press ouchie!

Good Evening Everyone.....

Food diary today:
1 sml banana up & go
1 water cracker and sml piece of cheese x 2
1 boost smoothie sml
nibbled on a few corn chips and crisps ...threw them up...
spoonfull of mash pot and chopped up silverside and white sce....I will have another spoon shortly...
Hey Donna , knees are going great, I dont do the knee ones...I do the other ones longer...
It was the local gymthat did all the damage ...50kg leg press's didnt help!!!

Thanks everyone for your kind wishes.
The waters did not get to me but I can see them .. and worse, STILL no power. There is a generator outside powering the TAB satelites (apparently) and I really wanna go ask the kid guarding it if I can plug my laptop in for a few mins.
In fact I'm off to try my luck now.

Debs I know exactly how you feel. Hang in there.

Today was ok. I still get hungry between meals but need alot less food to fill me up at meal times and between meals.

Breakfast 1 grain toast with a poached egg and slices of tomato

Lunch 2 sausages with salad

Dinner 4 1/2 home made rice paper rolls with thinly sliced salad vegies dipped in sweet chili sauce

Snacks

1 tub of yoghurt, handful of cashew nuts.

I may have another snack tonight probably another rice paper roll.

My food today and yesterday has been bad bad bad...i can't even write it down. When will this restriction kick in???? I'm so stressed...maybe that's why i'm eating so bad. Arrrggghhh....

TARA and other people in the flood areas you are in out thoughts and prayers,
also donated today.

The only time I have noticed the hypo sugar shakes(low blood sugars) have been after I had previously had a high carb?sugar intake that has run out.. Have not noticed them so much if I have had consistanly eaten small or low carb foods.

I forget to mention I did 1/2 hour curves workout and 1hour housework!

I don't know much about post band diet yet so if you (and others) only eat a hand full of food a day then the potential is there for me to eat only that too once I'm banded. My question was more for my own interests. I have insulin resistance (which means I get a surge of insulin release sometimes causing low blood sugars blah de blah blah) and I am curious to see what effect reduced food intake has on blood sugars / insulin / diabetes , if any, hence the bit about shaking.
ANY TAKERS?.

why is everyone so concerned with my eating ? no the doctors agree i am not in starvation mode , i was never a big eater to start with . I CAN NOT EAT ANYMORE AND I REFUSE TO EAT CRAP TO UP MY CALORIES!

tanya , i am not offended its just the way the band runs , i have heaps of energy , no shakes or head aches . i have tried to up my levels but it just doesnt work . my weight loss has died right off but slow is good

Breakfast = 1 coffee followed by 1 weetbix 1/2 cup of skim milk (no sugar yay for me)

Snack = handful of corn chips

Lunch = 6 x Wasabi rice crackers (gluten/transfat free) with cheese, ham and asparagus

Snack = 100ml Iced coffee

Dinner = 1 x Beef Taco (homemade)

Dessert = 1 small banana puff pastry thingo lol only had about three mouthfuls

Hi Tara,,,,,I hope u r Ok...His unit is in the emporium building and the water was up to the waterloo hotel earlier...fingers crossed it will stop soon...I will have to catch up next time I visit him...I am on the sunny coast( haha).
Yeah Im not sure whats going on with what I eat...Some days are good some bad.
Lucky I can still enjoy a drink!

I'm just up the hill from your son. They should be right in the Valley eh. Don't think the water will hit us but I have only one road in and out and NO power all day, I think they'd be the same in the Valley (I had to go to the shops for some entertainment - SAD, SAD, SAD !! And now using the internet kiosk.) Hope they are entertaining themselves better.

I find this thread really so helpful...I am having problems losing weight, put on over xmas, but have started to drop a little again. It is good to be able to compare to others...thank you for sharing.....
For today I had:
Breaky - 1 cup porridge, 1/2 tsp honey, 1/4 cup of skim milk.....
Lunch - 1/2 salad and ham sandwich and 1/2 cuppa
Dinner - small quiche, with salad
snacks - handful cashews, 6 rice biccies ( those small ones you can have with dips) with cheese and
naughty naughty - 2 tim tams.............that was the end of the pkt left over from xmas, now all gone....thanks god.....
Here on the North coast we are flooded in, so as the food runs out, that will be it....
In drinks....I usually have a 2 x 1/2 cuppas and water with ice and diet cordial and a dash of carrot and ginger juice.....

4 crackers with ricotta and tomato
small handful of cashews

You eat quite a small amount - do you notice it in any way besides weight loss? Do you ever get the shakes or anything? Is it something you try to do or is it the way your band runs?

Hope my direct question isn't offensive - it is NOT a criticism.

Cereal skim milk and 1/2 banana (1cup)
Snack
Cup pop corn
Lunch
Sandwich 2 grain bread slice ham chutney cheese and sprinkle nuts and fruit
Snack
1 nectarine
Diet cola
Dinner
Stew bit of potato pumpkin peas and bit of rice about a cup all up
diet cola

Sharon you live quite a way from your fill Doctor.
Don't be upset with only getting less and less fill each time. As you get close to the right spot you will be glad of this.
If you have an over fill and have to go back to get some out it is a long trip and you will be uncomfortable to boot on the trip.
