| Yeah your doc sounds nice. He is the same as Trishs isn't he?
My band has not been nice since I got home. I have had to really slow up and take the first couple of bites really slowly.

| Your trip sounded amazeballs Linda. Sounds like paradise. Are you feeling any better with the rocking? What a strange thing but at least it has a name. I think its worse when you have something and there is no name...doctors think you're making stuff up. lol I do hope you feel better soon. Maybe the rocking feeling affects the band?
I think bands are seperate entities. I swear they have their own little dysfunctional brains, like little rubber sociopaths conspiring to torture us. lol I've finally made an appointment to see my doc...we need to have a talk about this little maniac holding me to ransom. :)

| Hi Tara
No I can trace the rocking back 19 years ago to a cruise. It only occurs after being on a boat except once I fiugured that out this last episode came on spontaneously. I have had it 19 months this time. Last time it was 6 months. It has an official name Mal de De Barquement syndrome but no cure. I think I would rather a plain name and a cure. Stress makes it worse. AS does being tired.

| Linda do you think the cooler weather here has hit you suddenly? Maybe you need some time to adjust.
Does all sound quite odd.

| This is weird. After I had the fill out I could eat anything. A poached egg on half a slice of toast didn't cut it. I had to have a full slice. Whilst on holidays I could eat anything as if I didn't have a band. Now I am home it is trying to tell me that I do have a band. I can only manage half a slice of toast and egg with a lot of burping. My evening meal is a struggle and I have my cough back. My rocking is bad too. It is like it is all connected somehow. | |

| It is our last day. We have had the best time. If you ever get the chance you must come here. http://www.villaroyalephuket.com/promotion.htmlWe are allowed to keep our room until we leave for the airport at 4pm. Then a flight to bangkok. Then almost 4 hours wait and on a melb flight at 1215 am. Land around lunch time back to the cold. At least we get to see our cats! I think i will be on a diet for the rest of my life after this. | |

| It was so nice around the pool that we couldn't drag ourselves away to watch the footy. Our set thai dinner was to die for last night. This is the most amazing place. | |

| Oh my goodness. You should see this place, it is beautiful. We have a lovely room practically overhanging the ocean. The waves are so loud. They let us check in early as we arrived just after 10.30am. I am dying to look around. Just too tired yesterday. We made it to the pool and had a swim. Had a wonderful lunch and a couple of mai tais. Had the most wonderful room service dinner and were in bed by 7.30 pm. Slept almost 12 hours and are looking forward to breakfast. Eggs benedict here I come. I have 4 hours of massage in our package so might book one for later in the day. Have to watch the eagles at lunch time. Then we are booked in for dinner with a thai set menu. We have 2 of those in our package. We have one australian channel and it shows th footy. Go dockers even though I hate you well done. Hope the eagles do as well. | |

| Its supposed to hit between 27 and 30 here today... dont know what it was yesterday but it was bloody warm.
The husband is currently in Jabaroo, 3 hours out of darwin and its a cool 37 there at the moment though he said it feels more like the late 20s than close to 40.
I am making a cake for dads birthday tomorrow a bit later so there will be much licking of spoons and head in empty bowls to get the last lil bit.
Tis what I does.
Have a great trip linda and dont stress about the upgrading of sizes in clothes... happy is happy no matter the size you wear and your a beautiful person inside and out!

| It is much calmer today. We went to the shopping centre as we had to buy some clothes for the holiday (bigger for me). BUGGER It is such a nice hotel I thought I better dress up a bit more.
Then we had the AGM last night for the bridge club. I am no longer treasurer. It was a trade off my sister is now treasurer but Alan had to take her presidents job. Tis a pity they are mainly old and we are the younguns. I have one more lot of banking to do and then handing the stuff over to her today. Fly out tomorrow night.
Zips I heard your wind was on the way and it was hot. Ours wasn't hot but it was a northerly which is the evil hot wind. It has changed today to north west. We have had rain and lots of trees down. Wouldn't like that wind in summer. It was also about 9 all day.

Gonna be a belter of a summer me thinks.

| Had a huge branch come down on the fence. Had to wake Alan up to help get it off. Checked all the fences in the ute and also the neighbours place as they are away. Moved their cows into a more sheltered paddock.
The gas pilot light blew out on the hot water system for the ensuite too. Have relit it but not sure it will stay alight.
