| Re freezing muffins: I make sure the batch has time to cool completely. Use good quality freezer bags, zip ones are good... Put one/two in each bag as required, remove as much air as possible, and seal. Freeze immediately. When you want to eat, simply remove from the freezer, leave on bench, in lunch container or in fridge until thawed, and eat. To reheat, simply nuke for a few seconds after removing from the bag. They should keep in the freezer about 3 months,( if they get the chance) LOl. Hope this helps, Rae | |

While im glad im not putting on, i wish i had've known my calories were way too high. ive been trying to stick to 'dr's orders' *sigh* Oh and thankyou for the cruskits. Think theyr going to be my new breakfast food (as i hate breakfast) and i can take these with me :) Anyone know anything about freezing/defrosting muffins? I made some low cal apple muffins (stil bout 150 cals) with sultanas to have as a breakfast choice but i cant eat a full batch before they go yuk | |

| My Cal intake is less than 1000 per day...I would gain at 1600...... and can I ask why you have not seen the Dr since Oct, that seems a long time, I have to go monthly......exercise is a difficult thing for me also. mainly due to lack of time.....but did manage a long walk this morning, that did start out to be a trip to the car to get my diary, oh need to go down to check the horse, and so on so on.... | hey tracee, i just read that your intake is 1000 calories per day is that right? my damn surgeon told me to have 1600 and ive been sticking to that and wondering why i havent been loosing (even tho im not doing enough exercise.... i know) feeling so discouraged at the moment. Im trying so hard with the choices i make, having tiny meals, trying to avoid snacks most of the time, trying to exercise *sigh* My last visit with my surgeon was in october, and im due back to see him next week, and i feel soo hopeless because i havent dropped anything. My fiance says "yeah but you havent been exercising" and i agree with that, but those damn skinny people have no idea what exercising is to a bigger person. I did weights last tuesday and today is the first day i havent been crippled with pain. and he's like "you could still walk around the block" im lucky to be able to walk around the house when im that sore *sigh* Sorry for the moan. feeling so down today. glad there isnt alot of junkfood in the house. Tempted to go back on opti yuk for the week so at least i can claim some slight loss for the surgeon | |

| grats kristen, im so jealous :) Im trying to do more exercise, coz i think thats the main reason im not losing, coz im not moving. but i did body pump (45min full body weights routine) on tuesday and today is the first time ive been able to move without flinching. hoping the down time will be less next time. back into it tomorrow. Debs (or anyone) do you know a recipe so i can make the type of curry chicken you get from the chinese places? you know, its a strong yellow color, and kinda sets like jelly the next day? i can only find recipies for green curry and stuff like that. weigh in tomorrow *looks worried* only 1 week till the surgoen... | |

| So glad your little girl is doing better Cate, phew! That must be a weight off your mind. HI Tanya, yep my old girl is still going. She really low and we think 'todays the day' then she'll pick up and have a second wind for a few days, then she gets really tired and off her food again...and the cycle continues. We don't think she is in any pain though, just old and tired. She has always been stubborn and is probably hanging on out of sheer willpower. lol We are just glad she's hanging around still...it musn't feel her time yet i guess. She's doing ok though. Well done Kirsten! You must be rapt with that! I can't say no to a chicken curry either.... LOL | |

| JUst a catch up report.....my little girl is moving around ok, she seems to be getting back to her old self.....I was so worried she was not going to make it....... It was my brother in laws 60th yesterday and we all went out to dinner, I so get sick of my hubby telling me what I can and cannot have - so over it, and now only wants to order one meal and I pick from his plate, or he picks from mine and eats all the nice stuff, or finishs the plate before I can even get 3 mouth fulls down - grrrrrrrr - I got so angry - " I will order like a normal person and it I want to eat 1/10th, I will....." but it is hard when you go out...........( hubby did end up eating 1 3/4 meals...lol) So glad the weekend is here....so much to do.....Westy, we must catch, I am still coming up on the 29th, are you ok with this...??? | Glad your little poodle girl is going to be ok Cate, my heart stopped when i read your initial post. Some people are just like that...i have siblings who are the same way, are sweet as pie when they want something then couldn't give a stuff any other time. It breaks my mums heart too. So not fair considering we were raised by the same parents. Some people are more selfish, its just the way they are. Try and keep your chin up (and your food down :) and know that we are here for you if you need to vent. debs ps well done on grilled cheese! | |

| cate: maybe the band is too scared to give you a bad day ;p Youd be suprised how much crap you can eat and feel little result from. Had a binge week  the other week (that time of the month and worse than usual) had chocolate, liquorice all sorts and even chips! only put on 1.5kg... thought that was pretty good considering the sheer amount of crap i ate. felt pretty sick when i was through too ;p sure ur bikkies wont be too bad | |
