Hi Kirsten,

Yeah it is an odd phenomenon. I was wondering about the whole atmospheric pressure thing which would correspond with the tightness some bandits get when flying. Spose that is good to know before I fly rather than after.

My last band didn't do it at all but this one is way more prim and proper so I imagine the humidity just gives her a bad hair day.

Would love to hear how MIL is going in the humidity.

Although she is probably living in God's own country so if that is the cross she has to bear I'm sure she is happy to bear it. lol

Hi Tara,

I think I read something about this somewhere, and also something about travelling on planes casues tighter restriction. How strange. I havent had this problem, but then again I live gippsland victoria, and its more cold here than hot. I hope it settles down quickly for you. My MIL has moved up north of WA, she is banded so I will mention this to her and see if she had had similar yet.

I know I am talking to myself here in June bandits but couldn't think where else to post for a little whinge/discovery.

My June band HATES the humidity.
(My March band hated everything !! lol So I am stoked June only hates humidity!!)

This is the 3rd time this has happened, in the severe humidity my band all but closes over even drinking water is a mission. I have to keep sipping cos I can feel it just sitting in my pouch like lead.
Guess I won't be moving to Cairns or Darwin anytime soon.
I know in a few days I will be fine and I have some yummy runny soup for dinner so it's all good.
Dos anyone else's band do odd stuff ??
