Well didn't reach my goal, not too far off... lost 9.5kgs and went from a BMI of
43.3 to a BMI of 39.3. Gotta be happy with that.. any loss is a good loss!

I don't have scales at the moment but I jumped on a friends and I think I reached my goal - 95.8 :) Near enough....

I am not going to replace my scales though, I get too distracted by what they say. I think I will just wait 'till I get my fills and weigh in there :)

Okay May 1st Weigh in.
A total loss of 13.3 kilos since December.
My BMI dropped from 32.6 to 28.2 (which doesn't look that much now that I see it written down) but I went from obese to overweight. A size 20 to a size 16/14.
Okay lets get going on the next goal date- or is it goal weight !!

Okay wear it for a few days and then I want a full report .... size, cost and website (oh and maybe measurements - like how many inches lost cos they do say 3 sizes.)

The ones I have gotten are ok but I am not in love with them, they are ok for day to day wear.
But if you love your Body Magic I will follow suit (pardon the pun) and grab one too.

Kirsten - Go to You Tube and type in Ardyss Body Magic --- you'll be amazed at some of the before and afters. (But they are really expensive - we will have to get Kellie's supplier's details.)

Are we all doing our final weigh in tomorrow or on Sunday ???

I got my Adryss Body Magic Shaper today.. talk about pushing everything in and up hahahaha.. it definitley does the job, I thought I might have ordered a size or two small but I got it on and seems alright.. definitley dont need no push up bra thats for sure lol Just praying I dont need to go to the toilet lol

I can't wait to have all those 'likes' Beth how wonderful it must be. My first like would be... I 'like' that I have made the best decision in the world to have a lap band :)

Thank you all....I am very happy. My next goal is 70 kg. I know that it is only 4 and a half kgs away, but things are moving very slowly now. 70kg was the weight my surgeon set at the beginning of the journey, and I could probably go a bit more, judging by my tummy & midriff bulge that I still have, but I have to say, my friends are telling me to stop now, cos my face is getting gaunt. It is a pity we can't pick and choose where the fat comes from! According to the charts, my ideal weight is between 58 and 72 kg. My Wii tells me it is 62kg. I think that is too low. I'd like to be 69 for a little bit, just to say that I am in the 60's, but if not, nevermind!

Anyhow, even if I lose nothing else....I am very happy with how I am....I love being able to buy clothes cos I like them, not just because they fit! I like that I don't have to think about whether a chair will be able to support my weight! I love that I can very comfortably cross my legs! I like tucking shirts in! I like that my feet are smaller! I like that my ankles and knees don't hurt any more! I like that I don't get chafing between the thighs anymore! I like that I could wear a size 14 body fitting swimsuit to the beach on the weekend, and didn't hide behind a wrap or a sarong!!! So many other likes outweigh the dislikes (hate the cold!!!)

I haven't got around to the rissotto yet but will definitley make it this week sometime..

I might go shopping @ DFO mid year, get some money then.. can't save to save my life lol Hopefully I'll be more than 60kgs down by then..

I still haven't got my suit yet, it's coming from UK so might take a while.. I'll do a before and after shot too, see if you really do drop 2-3 sizes.. it'd be so good if it works, hope I got the right size, I sorta guessed the size for my measurements lol I'd be devestated if I couldnt get into it.. Definitley post a photo of your before and after, do you feel slimmer wearing it? Does it hold all your wobbly and jiggily bits in? lol thats what I want...

Yes please to the Risotto pic (ooh and maybe a bowlful too please!)

Yep my suit arrived, it's great, fairly comfortable and easy enough to get into.
One flaw it has is that it is crotchless to allow for the loo I presume, but you can't wear your undies over the top of it cos that would just defeat the purpose of hiding the VPL and if you wear them underneath you still have to take the whole suit off to pee which make the pee hole in the crotch kinda redundant !!!
I'm actually going to take some before and after measurements and photos with both suits to see ...well just to see really.

And hell yes you should go on a massive 60kg down celebratory shopping mission to the DFO. Definately start saving now tho. I was shocked how much I spent today. My friend tells me they call that buyer's remorse but I'm not sure as I don't have the urge to return anything.

Hi all,
I went shopping at the DFO today, not only did I get a massive work out but my credit card did too !!

It has just hit me why/how I came home with sooooooooooooooo much stuff - it's because I am now able to shop in the "normal" sizes. All I used to be able buy there was bras and shoes.

Today I have come home with heaps of Cotton On el-cheapo tops, several pairs of shoes, a top that looks like I've imported it straight from 1973, a size 12 from Table Eight (I don't know if their sizes run big for the number but seriously .. a 12 !!) A few other bits and bobs and finally I have included a picture of "the control underwear."
Now the squishy innie suit as I like to call em are as ugly as hell but they sure do smooth things down!!
I've tried a few kinds/brands now ..lol ..maybe we need to start a thread devoted to the squishy innie undie/suits (or did everyone else's "bits" go back to their original positions??)

Okay .. now for some pics. (The reason I have included pics is that I have just learned how to upload them today so sorry folks but shopping photos it is.)

Yep, I just swan about in my shiny new shoes !! lol. Wouldn't that be lovely. But I'm afraid no matter how much weight I lose mega heels are still more a sitting shoe than a standing all day shoe. Although perhaps I just need to apply myself more !

So my risotto was just a spinach and mozarella and pine nut. It's the base risotto for Arancini I made. Do yourself a favour and google Arancini and then whip up a batch, a bit time consuming but they really are to die for. Sorry about the calories in advance.

Hopefully you'll get back your sweet spot real soon.. I've been at my sweet spot for the past 8 months, havent needed a fill but just the last couple of days Ive been thinking I might need a tweek when I got for my next appointment..we'll see, its not until 18th May..

Rissotto sounds so good.. I've been eating a lot of it latley, its so good... I had never tried it until recently.. what kind of rissotto was it?!

And my band just decided (no blockages or anything) that it was going to get super tight which was weird and impossible so he took out .9ml and put back in .25ml, no wonder I couldn't swallow !! lol. I reckon one more fill of .10ml and I'll be back to my sweet spot but for now I am making ha while the sun shines .. Risotto for dinner .. YUM !!
