| I beat the whites and got 6 biscuits but they are very fluffy maybe when I do the next lot I will not and they may be more like biscuits. I actually love the oatbran with skim milk and heated in micro so I have to give that up to have the other. Delia | |

| I don't bother about beating the egg whites separately. I just beat the eggs with the yolk in. | |

| with the muffins do you end up using the egg yolks? I understand about fluffing the whites up then folding all the other ingredients in but are the yolk considered part of the other ingrediants? | |

| Linda down to 86.3 today. Very happy with how it is going. Have a wedding on Sat but plan not to go over board. I was hoping to be 85k by tomorrow but looks like I will not quite make it. I found it hard to eat vegetables yesterday so only had a bit of spinach in the eggs. I am going to do 1PP 1PV I read in the book that you can do that. What are you doing? Delia | |

| Tell me about it... I am waging war with a group of bush rats that have decided to set up camp in the roof of my veranda.... its right outside my bedroom so the all night club they have going is driving me nuts.
All the rain has washed them out and they have moved to higher ground.... well I am in commando mode and those suckers are going down.
It was all quiet last night... I couldnt hear the rave music or shagging that usually starts happening around 2 in the morning so perhaps they snorted the last line of the rat bait I threw up there and they are gone... guess I will have to wait for the stink to know

| I used to make these all the time but I used less oatbran than 9 T....and used stevia ..splenda kills rats apparently... and I added cinnamon...
I would also double the recipe and freeze them and pop them in the micro when needed

| I think the woman who wrote that recipe might have been on the attack phase. I worked it out to be .75T per muffin so if you had 2 that would be 1.5. | |

| Linda 9 tablespoons oatbran in the muffins Makes 12 should you be having 2 tablspoons of oatbran a day now? So that would be 3 to 4 you could have? I may have missed something. | |

| I think I only used 1 T of splenda. It was enough. Some others complained about the splenda taste. Mine was by accident. I really should print recipes out and not just remember LOL | |

| These were very nice. Very light and moist. Much better than the ones I made with no baking powder in. They would be nice with a bit of cinnamon added. I think the yoghurt is a nice additive. | |

| Makes 12 muffins, cook at 350 for 15 minutes
3 Eggs 9 T Oat Bran 9 T Fat Free Yogurt 3 T Splenda 3t of Baking Powder 1T Vanilla Extract
I eat 2 and this gives me my daily Oat Bran allowance
I have these in the oven. I think they will be much nicer than the previous ones I made. Very handy to take out as a snack.
