Egg Drop soup Makes 1 serving
1 cup chicken broth (used canned for better flavor)
1 medium egg
1 oz extra lean deli ham, minced or chopped
1 teaspoon light soy sauce
1 teaspoon celery, minced
1 teaspoon green onion, minced
garlic powder, pepper & salt to taste
splash Tabasco sauce
Add chicken broth, soy sauce, ham & veggies to a saucepan and heat to simmer. Stir well and cook on high for 1 minute.
In a small bowl beat an egg. Stirring broth in one direction with a fork slowly pour in egg. Ribbons will form and soup is done! Easy peasy for a quick high protein snack.
Note: You can use Egg whites less fat calories.
