Sorry I can't help with the bruising question, but I just wanted to say how fantastic you are looking. One day I hope to be brave enough to post some before and after pictures as well.

Wow lily! Looking good! I can't even imagine what its like to be a size 14 again. lol Well done.

As for the bruising...have you had your folate and vitamin B12 levels checked? If they're low it causes a type of anemia...megloblastic i think? Anemia can make you bruise. Maybe get a blood test to your levels checked? They can be low in weight surgery patients.

Yes I do even when I have a fill it bruses sometimes.
I had them all over my arms when I had one operation.
We have not found out why as yet.

Hi All,

Now does anyone else have bad bruising since lapband. I am bruising really easily and I have begun taking iron but how long until I stop bruising again as it is pretty embarrassing.
