WoW!! I exercised today. 20miutes marching while watching a show and then 10 minutes walking down to get the mail.

I have started and I feel good.

Mind you I had to drag myself out of the chair.

You know the thoughts you can start tomorrow, it is hot, it is too late, ah can't be bothered. Well I am so glad I was bothered and will be doing it again tomorrow.

I went for a walk today. The first in quite a while. I live out of town and it was so nice walking up the road. I was surrounded by butterflies it was so lovely.

I wish I had gone earlier in the day as the flies were driving me bonkers by the end.

Tomorrow I might head out earlier.

So after my mammoth walk, which I have done a number of times before, my hips were screaming. My gait must have been off...

The hips then settled but then my reconstructed bionic knee has been killing me ever since. Hmmmm

Not happy, Jan

Mine is too. Last walk was last Monday. I have been so slack. Weather isn't helping any either

I just though a new topic of a log of exercise may be useful.

Feel free to add as you see "fit" (pun intended!)

Today, so fa I have done:

15 minutes treadmill, at 6.5 km/hr
15 minutes cross trainer at level 1

My daughter and I are just about to leave on our walking circuit. It's about 8 km. I'll report back when we are done!!!

OK so it took 1 hour 45 mins to do the 8km. Pretty slow, I guess. My hips are screaming though...don't know why...haven't had that before.

Oh well. I feel virtuous, if in pain, lol
