| Okay yesterday not so great but Fridays are always hard as we have drinks at work and my husband likes to have takeaway with the kids so all up I suppose not to bad as I am aiming to live " normally" whilst losing weight. Breakfast: coffee barocca snack: 4 water crackers with cheese lunch : 1 cup chicken and vege curry (whoo it was hot) snack: 2 glasses white wine dinner: chicken treat munch wrap (small but tasty) and took a few of the kids chips drank much more water yesterday which is good.
The wine is my downfall...I don't have anything social this weekend so that will help. There are two things that are a given for me, two glasses of wine on a Friday and a cruiser free on a Saturday after softball. Other than that I generally don't drink much so I am just going to have to exercise so they don't matter.
Have a good weekend everyone. | |

| HI Cate After a vomit it is a good idea to just have fluids for a day or even two and then go on to mushies for a day. You are probable swollen from the vomit. I had forgotten what it was like and brought up just a tiny bit (1/2 a teaspoon or less) the other day and I was sore for 2 days. I kept on fluids for the day and mushie the next day and all was right the next. Not sure why it happened maybe it was with a burp but I was sore for a day or two. Delia | |

| Its very common for a band to reject food in the morning and embrace it later in the day. Just go with it and dont worry about forcing the food down in the morning or you wiil irritate it and not be able to get anything down later.
Have a milo or a cappa or just a cup of tea and relax warm things generally prime the band and relax it somewhat... you will find around 11 it is starting to settle.
If your band is irritated and you have had a stuck issue.... try ice blocks it seems to sooth the stoma and that fact that they are eaten slowly and trickle down the throat helps

| Hi Cate. I know we should eat breakfast but I find I can't have anything until about 10/11am so I tend to just have a coffee and a barocca on the way to work and usually have a yoghurt or something mid morning. Mind you I haven't had anywhere near the restriction issues that you have had. Good luck working out your band. It's sounds like a rough road. I hope it gets better for you soon. | |

| Hi Delia......the pain is much better this morning, I think the Gavison has helped here...tried to have breakky( warmed up a little = 2 spoonfulls of last nights dinner as it went down so well) - no go, took 1/2 to stop the vomitting, so awful-looks like I just cannot eat early in the mornings - darn/bugger.....will just have a cuppa ( tea) shortly and try the mushie foods late today, or do soups till tomorrow....I have found it difficult since the day of banding - band = frickle.......

| You may well be, I hope it's not too much of a struggle. May require lot's of coffee (non bandit speaking here...). I am studying, it's the best time for me because I have a young child. It must seem obsessive that I post here all day and night...! I just work with my computer a lot and that, coupled with A.D.D, means I don't stay on task for long :) |

| Cate, I copied this from what Losingit posted on the 'how to ' thread.
...Go to your profile, select preferences, scroll down to timezone, and select the appropriate one for your location (for instance, Eastern States select GMT + 10 hours), then I also chose automatic time correction and summer time. Obviously if you're in Qld, you won't need the summer time option... |

| Yes Tanya, once I would have eaten the whole packet with no problems, but currently 1/2 biccie is it...... I think I might need to have a day or two on fluids, feeling very uncomfortable and very sore....wish I had some antacid in the pantry, it is not that I have reflux, but feel the need to settle 'tummy' down..might have a bug....not able to sleep, just had a cup of milo and milk and it is pouring with rain again.....
