Any of that cheesecake left Zippy? I could go a piece of that right now.

If I ever see another damn truffle it will be too soon. Have made about 600 of those little buggers, and eaten about 3. Maybe that's the answer to my gluttony - I just need to work in the food industry and I'll be that sick of seeing the stuff I won't feel like eating any of it. Then again, don't hold your breath for that . . . . . . .

Looks like the UK resident of the family ain't gonna make it back for the big day. Snowed in over there and not much hope of getting out. Was reading that it could well turn out to be the coldest December in 100 years. Glad I'm here, not there. I hate the cold.

Ya well dont start with the cheering yet tanya ... this is the hardest part of all and I have been doing the 'will ya wont ya' dance with this last lil bit for quite some time now... I lose it and the sucker finds me and sometimes it brings friends.

Sadly old habits die hard and when we are this close to the end we get slack...hence the saying "so close and yet soooo far!"

Fraid Im with tanya on the chocky crickets... although my mum did always tell me to try something first before saying I dont like it...

*sigh* I lurves lurves lurrrrrves chocolate covered cherrys in liqure and ginger in dark chocolate the ones that come from darrell lea...yuuuuum.... oh and dark chocolate covered toasted coffee beans...are ya getting the drift here... I am a hopeless case.

Bought my hammy today... 100 bucks of smoked pig... sucker will be gone in 3 days once my husband and son hit it...mind you the 2 daughters boyfriends might pitch in a hand too... blardy human termites the lot of them.

I am not eating dinner tonight... I was forced to eat white chocolate and cranberry cheesecake... ok I was foooorced to eat the first slice... there was no coercion in the second!

Chocolate . . . . . . . . I was forced to eat someone else's scorched almonds at work the other day . . . . . she claimed she doesn't like choc and nuts together. I'm not fussy so I relieved her of the agony of having to eat them, along with my own packet. Pretty much if it's got chocolate on it, I'm gonna like it. HOWEVER - there are a few exceptions: ginger and liqueur being two of them. Not sure what it is, but I have never liked liqueur in chocolate. I don't mind each on their own, but together somehow just doesn't do it for me.

Maybe I can suggest that to people - if they must give me chocolate, make sure it's got either of those two inside, then I'm sure to bypass it. Probably wouldn't work, I'd just figure out how to get the choc without the innards.

Yes, well . . . . still warmer than UK. Expecting my brother to return from there before Christmas, but don't like his chances with all the snow, cancelled flights and closed airports. Long way to walk (and swim).

Come on, Linda - you can do better than that! Actually, I'm surprised you've even said those things.

Chocolate . . . . . . . . who invented that? My demise is not solely due to it, but it has played a part.

Will be struggling to squeeze in the walk today. Don't mind that much if it's just drizzling, but it's pretty unpredictable at the moment. Very unusual weather for this time of year I have to say. Good day for sleeping, actually . . . . . which is probably what most people do after they've worked an overnight shift. I'm not most people, but I'm drawn back to bed. Options at the moment are walk or bed . . . . . . aaahhh - that's settled then, the consensus is bed!

I see they've made some changes, too. Now 25 threads on a page. It was ridiculous that they only had about 10 before. Still glad we've got this one. Damn pop-ups over there and still as slow as a wet week. Can't handle all that crap.

I wanna know to Linda pinda... share your misery with us pah-leeeeze.

Ooooooooooh beetroot on samiches... now that I love. When I was a little tacker I used to eat the beetroot straight out of the tin then drink the red vinegar....needless to say I peed pink.

I doooo love a hamburger and salad samich with golden circle beetroot and yes I can definitely tell the difference if its edgels... I have a good taster on me

I deigned to step on the scales this morning. Was prepared for a big shock (not having weighed last week) and yes, they have gone up, but not by as much as I thought they would. Maybe I should take this chance to get back on track, before I do have a heart attack on the scales.

Then again . . . . . . . . .

Oh Linda - I wanna know, I wanna know. You hardly ever get grumpy. Get that grumpy post happening, I wanna see what's upset you!

Now there are some things I will accept, and double-dipped tim tams is one. OMG - have you tasted those things? I'm not really a tim tam fan, but the double-dipped ones . . . . . . . . . . . now they hit the spot. However, better still, if you're into choc biscuits extraordinaire, are the coles own brand chocolate sensation. Now they are GOOD! Similar idea to tim tam, but they are dark choc.

Do you think I have an issue with chocolate? Nah . . . . . . . not li'l ol' me!

WTF I just wrote a very grump post and it disappeared before my eyes. I can't be bothered doing it again. Maybe it should remain unsaid.

Oh Zippy, why so many things.
Why light fruit cake (pfft)?
And double dipped tim tams, why?!
But personally, even though I know it's entirely good for us (and nothing to do with Christmas food) - I will never understand beetroot on a sandwich.
