| Ba ha ha Zip,
I was TRYING to explain to my friend yesterday that "ya mole" is a term of endearment. She was having none of it.
You've made me smile this morning in my rightness !!

| Happy Birthday to my banding buddy, Zippy! Hope you have a great day on Tuesday. I expect you may end up having to make your own cake (if you want one). I would be more than happy to make one for you if I was there . . . . . . something outrageously decadent, of course. Only the best for the best! May your day be filled with pleasant surprises, lots of gifts and a mountain of good wishes. | |

| So sorry to hear that about your mum Linda. I do hope she comes good in the near future.
Hope you had a lovely dinner Losingit...love old friends...no expectations and always an easy laugh.
How's you going Miss Zip? Miss Tara? Miss Delia? Everything ticking along nicely?
I'm still eating like there's no tomorrow. I figure there's no point in stressing too much about it as i know i won't stop. There's something about knowing i'm getting the sleeve that's just making me eat like every meal is my last. God i want the 15th to come...i go and see Doc P and hopefully i will get my surgery date.

| Yes I am over this heat. I spent the day in and out of cars putting vision aust donation dogs in pubs and clubs. Luckyily Alan helped me so he drove. It is much easier with 2 people doing it. It makes my rocking worse though. Then I started on a spreadsheet for the dogs. It is in such a mess that I thought it best to start from scratch. Will take awhile though as I only entered 10 up today.
Mum had another stroke in Perth last Thursday. It was a long weekend so nothing much was done. Awaiting the paperwork for an MRI then she will be off to rehab. Her speech is better this time and she is getting feeling back in her right leg. She couldn't move it at all at first. I will wait and see what happens before I venture over there. Sounds cold but there really isn't anything I can do. I have 4 brothers and sisters over there who can't do much either.

| Hot. Where is everyone?
Catching up with some old friends tonight for dinner. Known each other for 40 years. Nice when you've known people for that amount of time - no expectations, just take everyone as they are. Won't matter to them if I'm fat or skinny (fortunately).
Hope everyone is well. | |

| Glad you're feeling a bit better Delia. Yes it could be the weather, never thought of that. That Tara is a clever chicken.

| Thank you girls for your replies.
I am much better today. The doctor did not take any fluid out. She siad she did not want to but if I did she would. As I was then drinking tea and water I said not let it. I have been on liquid soups with the fish or chicken blended into it as well as and yoghurt the last two days and it is going ok.
I never thought of the weather and maybe that is casuing it to be a bit tighter then usual. Thanks Tara for that reminder.
Flooded again up here yesterday but we are ok. We are up high.

| Yes, Debs - that really happened. Was so strange. She caught up with me as I was passing some local shops, and she stopped the car and ran over to me. First thing she asked was if I came from the mainland, and secondly, with some hesitation "I know this will sound strange, but are you Losingit?"
Tara, thank you again. Compliment accepted and received with a little more grace this time. Appreciate your sentiments.

And yep, I hear ya, I cannot find the motivation - that's why I was so impressed !

| Thank you, Tara. I do realise that no-one else can make the effort for me, I have to do it myself and the motivation has to come from within. Why is it that my 'greatest' achievements in life are always negated by my biggest disappointments? Something to do with a screwed up headspace I guess.
Linda you have a very good memory. Yes, it was Andrea who saw me walking past her house when I was staying with friends in Tassie. I had just been on the forum and said I had to get out for a walk. I only mentioned that I was staying in Hobart on the Eastern Shore, and Andrea saw me walk past her place 10 minutes later and chased me in her car, taking a guess that it might be the person from the forum. I remember being taken aback by some stranger who spoke to me out of the blue and asked if I was Losingit.

| Remember when cuddles friend bailed losingit it up in tassie? Remarkable. (Andrea?)
Its raining again girls and the cows are bloody hungry and mooing for hay. Our neighbours are mean about feeding them but they are in our paddocks now cos they escaped from theirs. They like us much better. Alan went out in the dark last night and gave them a bale of ours.
We might have a storm coming in so I upped the temp on my roast chook in case the power goes out.

| Losin It,
I was thinking about you the other day. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A COMPLIMENT SO WORK WITH ME HERE.
So I was thinking about thinking about doing some exercise and decided it was all waaaay too hard and I should just continue exercising my credit card arm and my remote control finger.
And all that thinking made me think about just how much walking you used to do and I reckon you deserve a massive high five for being a do-er not a gunna. I think that is awesome and impressive.
Now, I know ya not doing it now and will prolly try to negate this bodgy attempted compliment but too bad I think you're a bit of a legend.
So there ya go .. gosh I hope nobody ever asks me to give a speech in public - can you imagine what a mess I could make of that !

| I am also cynical (just in case you hadn't picked that up yet)!
Dorinda's weight loss almost mimics my own, though I was heavier to start with and lost a bit more, however . . . . . . . . . . I suspect it's ALL regained now. I just couldn't keep on the excessive exercise treadmill any more, and I knew when I was on the way down, and increasing my exercise, that it would be the case one day that I just didn't have the fortitude to continue. Without excessive exercise, I have never been able to keep my weight down.
I am almost resigned now to being a fat pig for the rest of my life. It's inconvenient, but so is spending half the day exercising.
