SAVOURY SPREAD
Melt 1 tablespoon butter in pan
Add 1 large finely diced onion (I blitz it)
Add 2 good sized finely chopped tomatoes (Blitz it too- I often used tinned tomatoes)
2 cloves garlic
Gently cook.
Add lots of cracked black pepper
Add 40gms grated cheese
Chopped parsley
Good pinch of mixed herbs
1 slice bread blitzed into fresh crumbs
Stir and add 1 beaten egg, stirring and it thickens
Let it get cold and refrigerate.
