| The yoghurt turned out ok but was more like a junket. It is ok with some jelly flavouring or with curry. Today I drained one bottle and it make quite a nice labne. I love the idea that there is 7 200g bottles and it set in these. Delia

| Really? I missed that bit LOL I find it is ok for the dressing I make with mustard and vinegar but I didn't want to mix jelly chrystals with it. | |

| I will try it tonight or tomorrow in the Aldi containers. It says to strain the milk so there is not particles in it. That may help.

| I tried my home made yoghurt. Very average! I didn't mix the skim milk very well (I thought I did) as there was a black residue on the bottom of the saucepan. It sort of separates and is NOT creamy at all. I will buy some shop stuff and maybe try again with a carton of ready made skim milk. | |

| Yes I saw that but I think mine is nicer. I think it is posted on here at the beginning. I now add a crushed clove of garlice to it. I like the lemon zest in it. | |

| I just made my own greek yoghurt. It should be set in the morning. It is from the recipe Delia posted a link to. I also mixed some yoghurt with a different jelly flavour. Peach and white tea. Much nicer than the last one I mixed. Had salmon on the bbq tonight. I usually steam it. It was nice to have the skin crispy. 4 weeks on Monday. I haven't weighed so am looking forward to a loss. | |

| That sounds nice. I did not even offer them to my husband. The girls at the band meeting brought some of them the other day. Del | |

| I made meatballs and spaghetti with the miracle noodles. They were very filling. I only had half a pack. Cooked ordinary spaghetti for Alan. They are a bit expensive when he would rather ordinary anyway. | |

| I brought an aldi one but have never used it. I plan to do this yoghurt in the future. I am going well on my plan so until after the 5th Feb will keep with what I am doing. Down to 87.5k and have not been that for 2 years. 4k down in the three weeks. Delia | |

| That sounds pretty easy. It is a pity I took my yoghurt maker back to aldi. The actual equipment was good but the yoghurt mixes were foul.
Thanks Delia | |

| fat free cottage cheese or fat free mozarella. I have a feeling that they are only available in the States. They have so much more over there. I remember when I was on Atkins years ago I sent over for some foods that were not available here. Pretty hard to send for cheese...lol | |

between 2 soup bowls then top each serving with half the scallions and chili sauce. Garnish bowls with a slice of lime and pieces of cilantro.
I could swear I was at the Vietnamese restaurant, but without the calories! When I get my noodles I am definitely making this.

| Shirataki noodles and the Dukan Diet Shirataki noodles are allowed in all phases of the Dukan diet. They are a great replacement for pasta or noodle dishes, and can help you add texture to your protein meals. Especially in the beginning of the diet the familiar form of a noodle can help you get creative in the kitchen. Health Benefits
- rich in fibre
- helps control blood sugar
- low in calories
- beneficial for people with Type 2 diabetes
Shirataki noodles are an excellent food for weight loss. The soluble fiber found in shirataki (think oatmeal) slows digestion and prolongs the feeling of fullness that is an essential part of any successful weight loss program. Also thanks to the slow speed of absorption your body can take in more nutrients. There is some evidence that glucomannan, when tested as a powdered supplement, can play a role in blood sugar control, as well as improve cholesterol control and weight loss. It also contributes to fiber intake and can be a substitute for starchy noodles. There are two types of shirataki noodles, traditional and tofu-based. Traditional shirataki noodles have zero net carbohydrates, no food energy, no gluten, and they are useful for those on low-carbohydrate diets like the Dukan diet. Tofu-based shirataki-style noodles contain a minimal amount of carbohydrate, have a much shorter shelf life, and require refrigeration even before opening. http://www.miraclenoodle.com/default.aspx
